About The Position
The Paraeducator position at Bella Vista Elementary is designed to provide classroom support to teachers and students, particularly in a combo support role. This part-time position requires working 5 hours per week, specifically from Monday to Friday, between 10:15 AM and 11:15 AM. The assignment is anticipated to conclude on June 5, 2025. The Paraeducator will assist in creating a positive learning environment, supporting students with diverse needs, and facilitating instructional activities under the guidance of the classroom teacher. This role is crucial in helping to ensure that all students receive the necessary support to succeed academically and socially within the classroom setting. In addition to direct support to students, the Paraeducator will be responsible for maintaining a safe and organized classroom environment, assisting with classroom management, and implementing instructional strategies as directed by the teacher. The position may also involve collaborating with other staff members to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs. The Paraeducator will play a vital role in fostering an inclusive atmosphere that promotes learning and growth for all students, ensuring that they feel valued and supported in their educational journey.
