As a Paradise Pool Concierge, you are responsible for providing exceptional service at every opportunity specifically while selling merchandise and communicating with guests and co-workers. Support the Cabana Club servers with the day-to-day service of food and beverage items at the two (2) pools. In addition, you will assist in maintaining the overall appearance and organization of the pool. This includes, but is not limited to, the following duties: Responsibilities include greeting and checking in guests of the Cabana Club, answering all guest questions and requests in a prompt, courteous and friendly manner, making reservations and selling retail merchandise. Set up all cabanas and concierge desk daily according to the standards set forth in training manual. Actively partake in pool/cabana cleanliness and straightening of merchandise at opening and close of business daily. Prepare cabana guests lists for the restaurant staff with accurate pricing name and guest rooms if any. Answer phones, assist in taking special customer orders, and ring in sale. Regularly tour and inspect perimeter areas of the pool area, and straighten furniture and other fixtures while maintaining cleanliness as necessary. Demonstrate commitment to making a conscientious effort to eliminate or reduce the risk of injury to our guests and associates, damage to our property or the property of others. Know the correct action to take in the event of an emergency, and demonstrate this knowledge by acting appropriately in the event of an emergency.
