About The Position
This position is for a Classified/Paraeducator - Instructional role at Nelson Elementary, requiring 6.5 hours of work per day for 178 days per year. The first year will involve 7 hours per day for 4 days, followed by 2 days each year until certification is completed. The pay for this position is set at PSE Salary Schedule Level 5, which is $24.15 per hour for the 2024-2025 school year. The official hire date is contingent upon School Board approval and may change without notice. The selected candidate must complete Right Response Training within 3-5 months of hire and successfully complete the Fundamental Course of Studies and General Paraeducator Certificate as mandated by state requirements.
