About The Position
The Classroom Support Staff/Paraeducator position at Finn Hill Middle School involves assisting teachers with individualized and small group instruction for students of all educational levels who have physical or behavioral needs or are medically fragile. The role supports students' special health care needs and helps develop their daily living and behavioral skills. Responsibilities include assisting staff with classroom preparation, retrieval, use, and storage of equipment and supplies. The paraeducator may also supervise and assist students in various settings such as libraries, classrooms, resource rooms, self-contained classrooms, playgrounds, or during transportation on and off a bus.
