About The Position

The Pantry Person is responsible for the preparation of salads, dressings and garnishes and maintaining the cleanliness of the pantry area.

Requirements

  • Effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner.
  • Minimum of one year's experience.
  • Ability to work from a standing position for extended periods of time.
  • Neat appearance with good personal hygiene.
  • Ability to push carts up to 70lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Chop, dice and cut vegetables and fruits using hand knives and electric slicers.
  • Combine ingredients to prepare various salads.
  • Use greens and items to garnish food items in accordance with restaurant needs.
  • Prepare dressings in accordance with restaurant needs.
  • Ensure ingredient supply levels are accurate.
  • Move items from storage shelves to carts and transport them to area for restocking.
  • Observe safety rules and regulations.
