About The Position

Summary: Responsible for food/beverage distribution from the pantry, pantry product inventory and offerings, and other related duties.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Previous food service, hospitality, or pantry services experience preferred.
• This job may require you to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all food or beverage is distributed from pantry in a timely fashion.
• Maintains and performs product inventory.
• Understands menu offerings.
• Creates, modifies, or closes individual sale checks via electronic tablet.
• Adheres to all safety and sanitation policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Receive deliveries at customer’s place of business.
• Verifies orders received and reconciles noted variances following outlined operational procedures.
• Inspects all products for expiration date upon delivery.
• Fills designated office pantry locations to proper inventory levels; responsible for proper handling of perishable food products.
• Ensure all cold food and milk products are refrigerated at all times.
• Place stock in cabinets, on shelves, coffee racks, or in designated coolers.
• Rotating product to ensure first-in, first-out product utilization.
• Inform regular customers of new products or services; listens to and resolves service complaints; set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issues sales promotion materials to customers.
• Performs routine maintenance on and sanitation of office coffee and water equipment; conducts minor repairs and adjustments on machines such as, adjusting flow meters, clean brewer sprayer-head, de-liming brew valve, cleaning and replacing small machine components.
• Reports all out of service equipment to designated maintenance repair service operators or technician dispatcher.
