Primary Objective of Pantry Cook Position To contribute to customer satisfaction by preparing and serving high quality food products in accordance with the standards of Bartell Hotels

Responsibilities

  • Properly sets up station for meal service, ensuring all food is prepared correctly and held at proper temperature.
  • Prepares and properly garnishes all pantry items, including salads, sandwiches, desserts, specialty plates and other food orders as they are received in accordance with established menu specifications, 
  • Prepares cold food item for employee meal at lunch and dinner
  • Insures that breakfast buffet has fruit, yogurt and other items needed for plate garnish. Makes butter for the lunch and breakfast service, pm pantry person prepares butter for the line at night
  • Maintain a clean, stocked station throughout shift
  • Learns new cooking methods, recipes, and plate presentation
  • Minimizes safety hazards by following all safety rules and procedures
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed
