About The Position

Job Overview: The Pantry Associate is responsible for maintaining a well-stocked, organized, and welcoming pantry environment for employees at a hedge fund office location. This role ensures that snacks, beverages, and pantry supplies are consistently available, properly displayed, and replenished in a timely manner. The Pantry Associate will also manage inventory levels and place routine orders to support daily office operations.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in office services, hospitality, facilities, or food service preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage inventory and place orders independently
  • Comfortable lifting and moving boxes (up to ~40 lbs)
  • Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
  • Professional demeanor suitable for a hedge fund environment
  • Inventory management and basic record-keeping
  • Time management and prioritization
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with food safety and cleanliness standards (a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Stock and replenish snacks, beverages, coffee, and pantry supplies throughout the day
  • Ensure all pantry areas (kitchenettes, break rooms, refrigerators) are clean, organized, and presentable
  • Rotate inventory to maintain freshness and comply with food safety standards
  • Remove expired or damaged items promptly
  • Monitor inventory levels and track usage trends
  • Place and manage inventory orders for the assigned site location
  • Receive, unpack, and organize pantry deliveries
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and restock schedules
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal facilities teams as needed
  • Support daily office operations by responding to pantry-related requests
  • Prepare pantry areas for meetings, events, or high-traffic days
  • Report equipment issues (coffee machines, refrigerators, water dispensers, etc.)
  • Maintain compliance with company standards and site-specific guidelines
