About The Position

This position will report to the Assistant Dean of Enrollment Management. The duties and responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to:

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.

  • Information technology skills.
  • Experience with Student Records module of PeopleSoft/CUNYfirst.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, especially Word, Excel and Access.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Strong attention to details.
  • Ability to work in the evening and weekends, when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a caseload of new students to help facilitate removal of all enrollment barriers by providing wrap-around service in navigating through our enrollment process; from acceptance and advisement to registration and applying for financial aid.
  • Assist students to apply for college.
  • Assist students to register for classes.
  • Process student requests for information change such as bio/demo information, major, address, etc.
  • Process freshman, transfer, non-degree and readmit applications.
  • Provide basic financial aid counseling.
  • Assist with in-person and virtual registration.
  • Assist students via email, online, and in-person, as needed, to resolve enrollment related issues.
  • Working collaboratively with other departments such as Academic Advisement, Admissions, Bursar, Contact Center, Financial Aid, and Registrar to assist students.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
