About The Position
As an installer at TruTeam, you will play a crucial role in the installation of various products that contribute to energy efficiency and building integrity. Your primary responsibility will be to install company products, which include insulation, fireplaces, gutters, mirrors, shelving, garage doors, windows, shower enclosures, home wrap, and other products sold by the company. You will be expected to adhere to work orders, manufacturer specifications, quality standards, and safety guidelines throughout the installation process. This position is vital in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality service and products that meet their needs. Your day will begin with reviewing your daily work schedule and ensuring that your truck is loaded with all necessary products, tools, and equipment for the day. You will conduct vehicle safety checks and job site inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols. At the job site, you will safely unload and stage materials, report any safety, customer, or quality concerns, and perform any warehouse-related duties as required. This role may also involve other tasks as assigned, making it essential for you to be adaptable and proactive in your approach to work. This position is classified as safety-sensitive, meaning that you will be required to operate company vehicles and adhere to strict safety standards. You will also be expected to travel locally to various job sites, with some out-of-town travel as needed. Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, climb, stoop, kneel, crawl, and stand for extended periods, as well as ladder climbing when necessary. This role is perfect for individuals who are physically capable and enjoy hands-on work in a dynamic environment.
