  • Select and install various components/devices utilizing hand and power tools.
  • Utilize drawings, diagrams, and blueprints to manufacture custom-ordered switchboards and panelboards.
  • Communicate and work effectively with team members to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive work culture by complying with all policies and performing 5S duties.
  • Work from manufacturing information to assemble switchboards/panelboards and identify missing components.
  • Utilize hand tools to accurately install material by following established procedures.
  • Maintain expected job progress and communicate issues such as part shortages.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and complete root cause analysis for quality or production issues.
  • Perform visual inspections of material before and after assembly and troubleshoot errors.
  • Cross-train and stand in for other employees/job functions when necessary.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • Ability to read and comprehend front views, one-line diagrams, bills of material, and pick sheets.
  • Computer literate.
  • Working knowledge of Lean concepts.
  • Some experience in assembly operation or assembly requiring drawings or diagrams.
