About The Position

The Panela Processing Associate LV2 plays a critical role in the production and quality assurance of panela, a traditional unrefined whole cane sugar product. This position is responsible for overseeing the processing stages to ensure that the final product meets established quality standards and safety regulations. The associate will work closely with production teams to monitor equipment, manage raw materials, and maintain efficient workflow throughout the processing cycle. Attention to detail and adherence to health and safety protocols are essential to guarantee product consistency and customer satisfaction. Ultimately, this role contributes to the successful delivery of high-quality panela products to market while supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the production facility.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in food processing or manufacturing environments, preferably with sugar or similar products.
  • Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to operate industrial machinery and follow standard operating procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced production setting.

  • Certification in food safety or quality control (e.g., HACCP, SQF).
  • Experience with panela or sugarcane product processing.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor panela processing machinery to ensure smooth and efficient production.

  • Document production data, including batch records and quality control reports, accurately and timely.
