About The Position

The Panel Builder is responsible for building custom electrical panels to be installed in industrial HVAC equipment.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in building electrical panels (boxes) and in wiring.
• Understanding different grades/voltage of wires
• Experience with power tools and blueprint reading.
• High school diploma or any combination equivalent
• Organization and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• The ability to stand for 8+ hours a day
• All candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and be willing to submit to a national background check.

Responsibilities

• Mounting electrical devices (transformers, drives, etc.) to a back plate using hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches).
• Running wire between the devices using hand tools (wire cutters and strippers) and labeling each wire during the build.
• Read electrical prints to build the panels.
