Requirements

  • High school diploma or (GED)

Responsibilities

  • Sets up the Palletizing equipment according to the production schedule.
  • Monitors palletizing equipment to ensure quality control and recognizes any malfunctions with the equipment.
  • Reports all malfunctions to maintenance and/or supervisor to resolve problem in a timely manner.
  • Assists in resolving the problem.
  • Immediately reports any packaging errors to the Filling Department.
  • Coordinates with the forklift operators to make sure appropriate pallets are being used for various products.
  • Responsible for loading the shrink wrap machines appropriately according to customers specifications.
  • Lifts, moves, carries and stacks cases of finished product as needed.
  • Operates any of the following equipment as needed; Palletizers and Shrink Wrap Machines.
  • Ensures product meets quality control standards.
  • Repackages damaged product to return it to market condition.
  • Assists in department inventory and performs basic record keeping duties as needed.
