JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include but are not limited to the following. Operates console that controls automatic palletizing equipment to sort, transfer, and stack on pallets the cases of finished product. Reads packaging specifications to ensure correct pallet type and arrangement of cases onto pallet matches specification. Observes pallets moving along conveyor to identify defective cases, slip sheets or pallets. Turns selector switch on palletizer to control stacking arrangement of cases on pallet and to transfer loaded pallet to delivery platform. Supplies loading equipment with empty pallets and slip sheets. Stops and restarts equipment to clear jams. Informs supervisor of equipment malfunction. Operate automatic bagger equipment by threading bag and going through the startup process.

Requirements

  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Must be able to work other shifts if needed and perform overtime work as required.
  • Must have the ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, communicating with people at all levels throughout the organization.
  • Qualified candidate will be mechanically inclined, solution oriented and some computer knowledge.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
