About The Position

The Clorox Company is seeking a qualified candidate for a Palletizer Associate role at our Aberdeen, MD facility. This facility uses automated packaging equipment and utilities to manufacture and distribute Clorox Liquid Bleach products. The successful candidate are responsible for palletizing finished bleach products and transporting the packaged cases from the palletizer to the trucks or the warehouse. Palletizer equipment includes a palletizer, stretch wrapper, fill case conveyor, full load conveyor, and forklift trucks to move the packaged finished product. Candidates must be able to work all three (3) shifts and overtime as business needs to dictate. 1st shift: 7am – 3:30pm, 2nd shift: 3pm – 11:30pm, 3rd shift: 11pm – 7:30am Hourly starting at $24.92/hr., with opportunities to advance through a skill-based pay system with pay rates ranging from $24.92/hr. to $28.30/hr.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • 2 years of operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Good, effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work rotational shifts (1st, 2nd or 3rd shift).
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures, noise, and machinery.
  • A Resume is required.

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years of operator experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Other transferable skills such as packaging equipment, auto mechanics, maintenance, blow molding, electrical, or machine shop
  • Military experience in the above.
  • Direct experience in Packaging, Molding, Process Operations, and Palletizing is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Stacking, organizing, and securing products onto pallets for shipment within a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution warehouse environment.
  • This role supports production flow and outbound logistics by ensuring finished goods are palletized according to quality, safety, and shipping standards.
  • Operate manual or automated palletizing equipment to stack finished products onto pallets according to established configurations.
  • Ensure pallets are built securely, evenly, and safely to prevent product damage during handling and transportation.
  • Wrap, strap, or secure pallets using stretch wrap machines or manual methods.
  • Read and follow pallet patterns, work orders, shipping labels, and production schedules.
  • Conduct visual inspections of products and pallets for damage, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with warehouse and OSHA safety standards.
  • Communicate with production, quality, and shipping teams to ensure workflow efficiency.
  • Perform basic equipment checks and report mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including staging pallets and material handling.
