About The Position

The Palletizer makes an impact by handling food in various forms and placing it onto clean, damage-free pallets. Monitor in accordance to SOP and/or MBR the date of packaging code. Assist forklift operator with wrapping and labeling pallets. Handle each product in a food safe manner preventing contamination or foreign matter from entering finished product. Ensure the packaging is clean and ready for sale of finished goods before palletizing. Through a good working knowledge of inventory locations, inventory sizes, types, pallet counts and patterns, assist in the transfers of materials throughout the material handling process chain. Tasks include housekeeping, general sanitation and product quality assessment responsibilities throughout the palletizing process. Maintain the integrity of the quality system. Be engaged in the day-to-day running of the business by performing tasks beyond normal/baseline job responsibilities, participating in team or business improvement meetings and initiatives positioned toward improving business results.
