About The Position

As a core member of our frozen warehouse and distribution team, you will be expected to work in a -20 degree environment to move product from a conveyor and stack onto a pallet. You will prepare pallets filled with delicious ice cream for the warehouse before it is sent to our customers. Working as a team, you will support the production of safe, high-quality products and team member safety. Perry's will help you to achieve all of the above goals through feedback, education, and continuous professional development.

Requirements

• Minimum education of a High School diploma, GED or HSE.
• Experience working with PIV.
• Schedule flexibility to work various shifts as needed, especially for training.
• Ability to work in an extreme cold climate, reaching temperatures below -20° F.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., throughout entire shift, multiple days a week.
• Ability to use proper lifting/bending techniques from ground level to overhead at times.
• Capable of pushing/pulling 2000 lbs., for an extended amount of time using pallet jacks manual or electric.
• Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods throughout assigned shift while maintaining footing on slippery floors.
