About The Position

The Pallet Wash role is responsible for removing dirt, debris, and contaminants from pallets through various methods while maintaining standards for safety, security, and productivity.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift and move 50-60 pounds repetitively
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time (at least 2 hours straight, four times in an 8-hour day).
• Able to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level, and crouch frequently.
• Able to use hands and feet simultaneously and perform repetitive movements.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety procedures at all times while performing job duties using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Utilize appropriate tools to include pressure sprayers, brushes, and hand tools for cleaning pallets.
• Visually inspects pallets and determines rework needed to be put back in production.
• Communicates with Shift Lead and site management consistently for guidance and priorities.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Follow the inspection process.
• Work at a steady, fast pace.
