RLR Sales Pallet Unloader
About The Position
R+L Carriers has immediate openings for a pallet unloader at our Wilmington, OH pallet recycling shop. Jumpstart your career and expand your professional portfolio at Pallet Recycling. As a pallet trailer sorter, you will unload pallets off trailers with a forklift, inspect and sort pallets and bring them to their designated areas. You will also be expected to clean and maintain equipment and trailers. Successful candidates for this position must possess a good work ethic, maintain a good attendance record, and work well with others as part of a team. About Pallet Recycles Pallet Recyclers does exactly what its name says, we recycle pallets. Pallet Recyclers is a family owned business, and was established in the spring of 2002 in Wilmington, OH. We provide end-to-end pallet solutions, from supply to retrieval, on-site services, and much more. We supply pallets to create premium wood pellets, premium mulch, and reused pallets.
Requirements
- Previous forklift experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 - 75 lbs. on a regular basis
- Operate hand tools (hammer, broom, moisture tester, etc.)
- Ability to stand on concrete for extended periods of time
- Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
- Ability to read and count
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy
- Observance of all safety rules and regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Proactive, self-motivated, and strong ability to multitask
Responsibilities
- Unload pallets off trailers with a forklift
- Inspect and sort pallets and place in designated area
- Clean and sweep trailers
- Maintain equipment and trailers
