About The Position

As a Pallet Sort Machine Operator you are responsible for sorting pallets to grade using a SMETCO 300 series pallet sorter. The Machine Operator is responsible to inspect the quality of all pallets and assign a grade, while removing all trash and debris. This role is vital to the success of our Relogistics site!

Requirements

• High school degree or GED required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills needed
• Ability to work overtime when needed

Responsibilities

• Hand stack pallets to appropriate heights
• Load and unload materials from trailers by hand
• Move pallets, or materials on pallets or in crates, around the distribution center
• Check loads to make sure they are secure
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
• Coordinate trailers moves within yard management system
• Accurately complete production paperwork to track progress
• Communicate directly with Shift Lead or On-Site Manager regularly
