About The Position

The Pallet Repair Technician is responsible for repairing damaged pallets returned from customers, ensuring they are service-ready before shipping them back. The role requires achieving production targets while maintaining a clean and safe working environment, utilizing various tools for repairs, and adhering to safety standards.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience safely operating air-driven, electric, and manual woodworking tools.
• High school degree or GED required.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for achieving Relogistics results while maintaining core values and safety standards.
• Complete all production paperwork accurately.
• Utilize appropriate tools and methods to repair damaged pallets.
• Communicate directly with the Shift Lead or On Site/Plant Manager.
• Examine repaired products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Maintain efficiency and performance standards of production.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment that meets company standards.
• Repair the required number of pallets after training is complete.
• Load pallets as required.
• Hand stack pallets to appropriate heights.
• Load and unload materials from trailers by hand.
• Move pallets or materials around the storage facility.
• Stack pallets or materials according to inventory control instructions.
• Check loads to ensure they are secure.
• Utilize yard management systems for coordinating trailer moves.
