About The Position
The Pallet Repair Skilled Warehouse Laborer position at Propak Logistics LLC involves the essential task of repairing customer pallets. This role is critical to maintaining the quality and usability of pallets, which are vital for logistics and transportation. The position offers a structured training program, starting at a pay rate of $14 per hour, which increases to up to $20 per hour based on individual production performance after training. The work schedule is primarily during the day shift, running from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with a second shift available from 3:30 pm to 2:00 am on the same days. In this role, employees are expected to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting weights ranging from 75 to 100 pounds, using power hand saws, and operating hand tools. Workers must be able to stand for extended periods, specifically for 8 hours a day, and utilize nail guns effectively. The job requires a commitment to safety and adherence to company policies, including a drug-free workplace policy, although marijuana is not tested in pre-employment drug screens.
