CHEP is looking for motivated Pallet Repair Operators to join our Temple, TX team, 2nd shift working Monday-Friday 4:30pm-1:00am. If you have experience using pneumatic nail guns and saws, can sweat through 8-hours of repetitive heavy lifting, and a have strong work ethic, a Pallet Repair Operator position with CHEP could be a great fit! 2nd shift - Monday-Friday, 4:30pm-1:00am $18/hour plus incentive potential up to $4/hour!! Shift differential ($.50/hr 5pm-10pm, $1/hr 10pm-1am) Weekly Pay with Direct Deposit Full benefits available on your First Day! Requirements
- Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of production tools such as pneumatic nail gun, or other relevant tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Lift and carry 78lbs at least 63% of work shift.
- Push items with a maximum force of 34 lbs./feet.
- Pull items with a maximum force of 34 lbs./feet.

- 2+ years previous experience working in an industrial, fast-moving setting with industrial machinery (preferred, not required)

Responsibilities
- Pallet Repair: Follow repair guidelines to execute the full repair of all components of a pallet including but not limited to removal and replacement of defective boards.
- Efficiency and Productivity: Strive to meet daily production targets.
- Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections to identify any defects or irregularities in pallet construction. Ensure adherence to repair guidelines and quality standards throughout the process.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery. Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment daily Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors immediately.
