CHEP is looking for a motivated Pallet Repair Operator to join our team in Kilgore, TX ! As a Pallet Repair Operator , you will play a crucial role in delivering customer satisfaction through the repair and assembly of pallets, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards. Operating primarily in either the repair or assembly department, you will utilize pneumatic nail guns, and saws to efficiently perform tasks such as board replacement, assembly, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance. Requirements

  • Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of production tools such as pneumatic nail gun, or other relevant tools and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to position pallets weighing up to 78lbs at least 63% of work shift.

Responsibilities

  • Pallet Repair/Assembly Follow repair guidelines to assess the condition and execute the repair and assembly of pallets using a pneumatic nail gun.
  • Ensure high-quality standards to enhance customer satisfaction through adherence of guidelines and processes.
  • Productivity: Strive to meet daily production targets.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery.
  • Wear and use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment daily.
  • Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors immediately.
