The Palantir Technical Product Lead at Owens & Minor is responsible for leading technical delivery teams focused on Palantir Foundry tools and ontology architecture. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing advanced data solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and delivering actionable insights. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, fostering a collaborative environment and managing product backlogs to ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements.

  • Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for Palantir initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable user stories.
  • Lead a cross-functional team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers in the development of data models.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring timely delivery of features and enhancements.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on project status and gathering feedback.
  • Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals and expectations.
  • Leverage understanding of data science methodologies, statistical analysis, and machine learning to increase team effectiveness.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies that enhance data modeling capabilities.
  • Ensure that data models are robust, scalable, and meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to establish testing protocols and validate model performance.
  • Bachelor's degree in fields related to data science, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical position with applied use of advanced expertise in data architecture, data integration workflows, pipeline design, and data transformation.
  • 3+ years of experience in product management or leadership.
  • 3+ years of Python/PySpark or SQL experience required.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling techniques and tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks and best practices.
  • Experience with SaaS solutions running in cloud platforms such as Azure/AWS/Google.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, at all levels including customers, vendors, peers, business stakeholders, and management.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
  • Strong background in Healthcare/Manufacturing/Distributions operations preferred.
  • Analytical mindset with a passion for data and problem-solving.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to profile and analyze data, derive insights from data, and experience working with many disparate data sets required.
