About The Position

Eaton's corporate Information Technology team is seeking a Palantir Project lead to support our global Engineering/Research and Development domain. This position can be based remotely within the United States. Relocation assistance is not available. 10-20% travel is expected. We at Eaton are innovating future products with a focus on global sustainability megatrends: Energy Transition, Electrification, and Digital Enablement. In this newly created position, you will be responsible for leading cutting-edge engineering technology projects and building the digital thread across the engineering domain with Palantir's powerful artificial intelligence platform (AIP) technology. As the Palantir Engineering Project Lead, you will oversee all Palantir Engineering initiatives, with responsibility for managing the vision and roadmap, ensuring progress towards key milestones, communication to stakeholders, and resolving roadblocks for the team. This dynamic role will ensure teams embrace Agile practices and Scrum framework values, boosting efficiency and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. With a strong technical background in Engineering systems, you will drive innovation across our engineering domain, leading projects that revolutionize our industry. The expected annual salary range for this role is $141000.03 - $206800.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional IT experience.
  • Project Leader or Engineering Lead with experience focusing on complex technologies and systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within a matrixed, multinational manufacturing company.
  • Experience working with Palantir or other AI technologies is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience with change management and implementation of new technologies within a complex organization.

  • Shape the vision and roadmap for building the AI-enabled engineering digital thread, driving innovation and technological advancements across Eaton.
  • Elevate team performance to deliver cutting-edge capabilities for engineering stakeholders, ensuring key milestones are met with excellence.
  • Leverage Agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver transformative solutions.
  • Resolve impediments for the team swiftly and escalate when necessary, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Coordinate with other Agile teams to ensure alignment and manage dependencies.
  • Create a safe and trusting environment for the team to raise and resolve issues, promoting open communication and collaboration.
  • Communicate risks, status, and updates to business stakeholders, keeping them informed and engaged.
  • Oversee cost tracking for projects, ensuring financial efficiency and accountability.
