The position involves supporting the Palantir Foundry Application Development, where the candidate will work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design and develop full stack applications using the Palantir Foundry platform. Responsibilities include working on both frontend and backend components, improving application User Interface and visualization design, implementing operational applications using Foundry Tools, and developing interactive workflow UIs. The role also requires developing the ability to build/access data versions within the tool for analytics, implementing data visualizations using Foundry Tools and/or Power BI, and maintaining applications as usage grows and requirements change. Additionally, the candidate will support data integration and management by developing data pipelines using PySpark, collaborating with the Data Engineering Team to understand the ontology and data pipelines, and supporting end-to-end data pipeline development. The role includes supporting the design and building of high-scale data-intensive workflows. The candidate will also be responsible for testing and quality assurance, performing data validations and analysis, creating and implementing unit tests, and monitoring and debugging critical issues such as data staleness or quality. The position requires developing and executing various tests to ensure software quality and resolving issues reported by users or identified through testing.
