We are seeking a Palantir Foundry Platform Administrator to manage and support our Palantir Foundry environment. This critical role ensures our platform runs securely, reliably, and efficiently, allowing our teams to maximize the value of Foundry for data integration, analytics, and decision-making. The administrator will serve as the essential link between IT infrastructure, security, and data users to maintain smooth day-to-day operations and a scalable platform. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem-solver with a passion for enabling data-informed decision-making. This position is open only to IT employees in North America.

  • Administer, monitor, and maintain the Palantir Foundry platform to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Perform upgrades, patching, and configuration management of Foundry services.
  • Manage platform resources, including compute profiles, enrollments, and storage.
  • Manage user onboarding, roles, and permissions using Foundry's native access control framework.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security and data governance policies.
  • Support data pipelines, ingestion processes, and integrations with enterprise systems.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to troubleshoot data flow or schema issues.
  • Apply security updates and manage certificates, authentication (SAML/OAuth), and authorization policies.
  • Ensure compliance with internal IT, regulatory, and audit standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, FedRAMP).
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions for Foundry infrastructure.
  • Develop automation scripts using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Python to streamline platform administration.
  • Partner with IT and InfoSec teams to maintain platform reliability and compliance.
  • Provide support to end users and act as a liaison with Palantir engineers for escalations and new adoption of features.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), best practice guides, and system diagrams.
  • Coordinate with solution teams to identify needs and work with infrastructure, data and security teams to design application server environments.
  • Install, implement, administer, support, maintain, and upgrade server-side application platforms.
  • Work with solutions team to define, enable and support the functionality and capabilities needed.
  • Document the installation, configuration, software validation/qualification, and backup and recovery plan.
  • Monitor designated applications and take corrective action to prevent or minimize system down time.
  • Open, manage and resolve application issues with external application vendors.
  • Find and execute on process improvement opportunities.
  • Regularly administer configurations, workflows, security groups, and user access to application platforms.
  • Identify, communicate, and mitigate potential technical risks with platform.
  • Work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Adhere to safety requirements and maintain company quality and quantity standards.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in systems administration, DevOps, or platform engineering.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Demonstrated understanding of identity management, SSO, and role-based access control.
  • Familiarity with data management principles, including ETL/ELT, data modeling, and SQL.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience administering Palantir Foundry or similar enterprise data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks).
  • Understanding of Foundry's core architecture, including Control Panel, Data Lineage, and security/governance frameworks.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Helm).
  • Demonstrated experience with Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with SQL and basic data modeling concepts.
  • Proficiency in a scripting language such as Python or Bash for automation and administrative tasks.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK Stack).
