About The Position

In this role, you will design, build, and optimize data solutions using Palantir Foundry to support mission-critical analytics and decision-making. You will work with large, complex datasets, integrating data pipelines, building scalable models, and creating dashboards that enable actionable insights. Requirements

  • Active and current SECRET federal security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering and working with Palantir Foundry.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and building relational, columnar, or NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, ETL architecture, and distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with Python for data manipulation and automation, as well as modern SDLC practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in collaborative, team-oriented environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), microservices, and API gateways is desirable.
  • Experience integrating analytics and AI/ML workflows into production systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and workflows within Palantir Foundry to automate ingestion, transformation, and integration of complex datasets.
  • Develop scalable data models, ontologies, and dashboards to support analytics, AI/ML workflows, and business intelligence.
  • Collaborate with analysts, product owners, and mission stakeholders to translate operational requirements into technical solutions using Python, Spark, SQL, and Foundry tools.
  • Manage ETL functions, maintain data pipelines, and ensure adherence to data governance and quality standards.
  • Build distributed systems for scalability, security, and interoperability across enterprise systems.
  • Document technical processes, maintain system and workflow documentation, and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
  • Support client engagement through meetings, status reporting, and ensuring customer satisfaction with implemented solutions.
