About The Position
The Paisanos Italian Host provides a warm greeting for guests, circulates the room while seating guests, and accommodates the initial interaction between guests and the service team. The Paisanos Italian Host should permeate a welcoming persona to each guest walking by or into the restaurant. Their purpose is to start the dining experience from the moment the guest arrives. The Paisanos Italian Host is the first and last impression of the venue to guests. The Paisanos Italian Host controls the pace at which a restaurant fills and can affect the fluidity of an entire shift and is responsible for correctly handling cash, credit, and comp procedures, as well as properly completing paperwork and providing guest service.
