About The Position
We are seeking a hard-working and reliable heavy lifter to join our growing operation. In this role, parts are to be painted and will be moved into the area by a forklift driver and staged to be worked on the line for painting. Employees will hang by hand (reaching heights from 3 to 6ft.) rack to secure onto overhead chain conveyer. Hangers are placed on the conveyer 1 at a time (The conveyer is about 7ft off the ground and hangers are hung freely and conveyer moves at a speed of 2 seconds per piece.) In this position the hangers hangout chest to waist high. Employees will reach down in the basket and pick up by hand metal or aluminum parts ranging (approx. 1 to 35 lbs. each). Hang parts onto hangers; some hangers will have poles that parts slide down onto or clips that lock parts into place. The parts move down the line and go up the conveyer to be cleaned, painted and dried. Finished painted parts will then be removed and staged onto a rack then moved to the assembly area to be built.
Requirements
- Able to work on your feet for 10-hours daily
- Work in hot/warm temps
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Submit to Drug Screen and Background Search
- Grip, grasp, push and pull
