Organize and identify transformer and subcomponents to be painted. Use of primer/paint/color as per BOM (Bill of Material). Set-up and operate paint equipment. Clean transformers and sub-assemblies prior to painting through use of sander, cloth, cleaner or alcohol. Mark and protect areas not to be painted or coated. Apply complete finish coat per Work Instruction. Complete quality check of final paint finish to meet manufacturing procedures and rework/repaint if required. Remove masking and protection. Requirements

  • Ability to work within the WEG Code of Ethics & Values. ( WEG Code of Ethics, 4th Edition )
  • Able to work over-time as needed.
  • Resides or plans to reside within reasonable commuting distance--no relocation assistance available.
  • Has current work authorization for employment in the United States.
  • Must complete: talent assessment, Job interview, pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Safety Sensitive position: Drug panel includes THC.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Two years prior manufacturing experience.
  • ACT WorkKeys National Career Readiness Certification (NCRC): Platinum or Gold Level.
