Beztak is looking to hire a Painter join our team. This position is responsible for the painting of community units and common areas as assigned. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Perform duties associated with painting such as wall prep, taping, & application of paint. Works with a sense of urgency to ensure all assigned requests are responded to in a timely manner. Responsible for inventory management and overseeing the cleanliness and orderly manner of the paint and necessary supplies. Maintains and cares for equipment & supplies as may be necessary for its continuous operation. Tracks apartment painting (full paint or touch-up) and touch up in common areas to ensure all areas of the community receive routine attention. Notes building deficiencies or needs to Supervisor in writing. Working in a high-pressure environment, interacting with difficult customers/vendors, handling urgent matters, resolving conflicts, having effective interpersonal skills Operating a company vehicle or personal vehicle (as required) to perform job duties. Candidates must be willing and able to drive for work-related purposes as needed. Pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 50 pounds. WORK ENVIRONMENT Work is regularly performed in a combination of office, community units, and common areas and is regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes and noise. Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor environments, including occupied and unoccupied apartment units, maintenance shops, and common areas. Exposure to varying weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, and snow is common. May occasionally be exposed to extreme conditions, including high heat, humidity, freezing temperatures, and heavy rain while performing outdoor tasks. Exposure to dust, dirt, pollen, debris, cleaning agents, paint fumes, construction or repair-related odors and other airborne particles. May involve working in confined spaces, heights, and areas with limited ventilation. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, goggles, masks, and hearing protection may be required.
