SUMMARY The Facilities Painter is responsible for painting common areas thru out the campus, Healthcare/Assisted living rooms and residential apartments and cottages. This role executes planned work orders, emergency work orders and Marketing up fits. This role focuses on timely completion of all work orders, customer service, paint supply inventory and maintaining departmental organization.

Requirements

• Positive attitude and ability to interact with staff, residents, and vendors professionally.
• Excellent supply organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of painting and paint repair maintenance.
• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of painting experience, preferably in facilities management, property management or residential.
• Prior customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and log maintenance and housekeeping service requests via Workhub/Cubigo, or similar internal system.
• Ensure timely completion of all assigned work orders.
• Provide regular updates to requestors on the progress and completion of work orders.
• Assist with emergency response protocols and provide support during urgent situations.
• Maintain accurate inventories of paint supplies and equipment for Facilities Department.
• Relay paint order needs to proper facilities administrator to ensure timely restocking.
• Track the usage, return, and condition of tools and equipment.
• Assist Directors in maintaining preventative maintenance systems for equipment and supplies.
• Serve as the point of contact for residents and staff with paint related questions or requests.
• Foster a positive and collaborative relationship between the Facilities department and the community.
