About The Position

The Painter is responsible for operating painting equipment to paint trailers and parts which meet quality specifications in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities

• Prepares spray guns and equipment.
• Moves trailers in and out of spray booth.
• Removes tires as needed and covers/tapes off parts that are not to be painted.
• Spray paints trailers on all surfaces with appropriate colors.
• Hangs and sprays parts as needed.
• Blasting duties as needed.
• Striping/touch up duties as needed.
• May be responsible for storing, moving, and/or handling hazardous or non-hazardous waste/materials.
• Meets production deadlines and notifies Supervisor of any production delays.
• Adheres to quality standards at all times.
• Adheres to safety standards at all times.
• Maintains work area in a clean, safe, orderly fashion.
• Improves self in any way possible to enhance job performance.
• Promotes Felling Trailers, Inc., its mission, values, programs and achievements to the public and other employees.
• Identifies organizational problems and opportunities for improvement and brings solutions and suggestions to managements attention.
• Functions as a team member by assisting, supporting and encouraging other employees in any way possible
• Performs related work as required, willingly and eagerly.
