As a 1st Shift Painter, you'll contribute to the production of high-quality HVAC equipment by applying industrial coatings and finishes with precision and care. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in industrial painting and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. What You Will Do As a 1st Shift Painter, you will: Apply various types of industrial paints, thinners, and safety solvents to units and components using proper mixing and application techniques. Perform mixing procedures to specifications to pain units and/or their components with proper application techniques. Perform hydro testing. Perform housekeeping and other duties as required. Physical/Mental Requirements Lifting 50 lbs. (occasionally), standing (constantly), walking (frequently), bending (frequently), climbing (frequently), crawling (occasionally), reaching (frequently), grasping (frequently), sitting (occasionally), connecting (frequently), pulling (frequently), reading prints (frequently), and exercising judgment (frequently). Must understand and follow safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Ability to follow written and oral instructions. Vision corrected to 20/20. Handling equipment (frequently). Environmental Factors Manufacturing environment - Exposure to noise, dirt, dust, cold/heat (indoor), and cold/heat (outdoor). Job hazards of working around heavy equipment and machinery.
