About The Position

Brandon & Clark is seeking a reliable Painter to support our shop operations by handling all painting-related activities. This role plays a key part in improving productivity, consistency, and efficiency by allowing mechanics to remain focused on core repair work.

The Painter is responsible for paint preparation, application, and compliance across the shop. By serving as the primary point of accountability for painting and surface preparation, this role helps ensure quality finishes, safe practices, and smooth workflow throughout operations.

Requirements

• Industrial or shop painting experience preferred (not required)
• Familiarity with paint preparation, spray equipment, and surface finishing
• Ability to follow safety, environmental, and quality procedures
• Comfortable working in a shop environment with heavy equipment and components
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Team-focused mindset and strong work ethic

Nice To Haves

• Industrial or shop painting experience preferred (not required)

Responsibilities

• Clean, prep, prime, and paint motors according to established procedures
• Clean primer and paint guns throughout the day and at the end of each shift
• Accurately log paint usage in accordance with company procedures
• Properly dispose of waste paint following safety and environmental guidelines
• Apply required stickers, labels, and nameplates to motors
• Wash and clean motor parts as needed to support painting and repair processes
• Assist with unloading motors from customers
• Complete initial intake write-ups and take photos upon receipt
• Sweep and maintain shop floor cleanliness as needed
