About The Position

Position Summary: Perform all paint related tasks to customer specifications. Reports To: Finish Utility Team Leader Personnel: Not applicable. Accountabilities: Responsible for performing all paint related tasks in an efficient manner. Authorities: Not applicable. Duties: Perform equipment checks on paint booth daily Record paint usages daily Perform paint related task on both steel and aluminum components Maintain paint equipment Accurate data entry Perform inspection verification Keep paint booth clean and organized Review customer drawings for paint requirements Job Qualification Requirements: Educational Experience –   High school diploma required.   Vocational or technical school preferred but not required. Experience –   2 years experience preferred, but not required.  Some mechanical aptitude required. Physical Demands – The employee is required to: stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to floor exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or exert 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Certification Required –   Medical certification required to wear respirator. Visual Acuity – Near acuity and accommodation are required for reading machine dial gauges, blueprints, and precision measuring instruments used in the inspection of parts and machinery.   Hearing Ability – Accommodations required to monitor machine sounds to identify and diagnose changes in order to take appropriate action and for communicating with employees.  Working Conditions – The employee is subject to: high noise levels from operating machines physical hazards from moving equipment and production components breathing fumes, dust and mist skin exposure to oils and cutting fluids. The employee may be required to follow other job-related instructions and to perform other job-related duties as requested, subject to all applicable state and federal laws. Attendance is an essential job function. Employees will operate in compliance of all recognized standards that Major Tool adheres to (such as AS9100, ISO 9000), including all supporting policies and procedures.

Requirements
