About The Position

Paints manufactured products including lighting products and custom vehicle accessories Sets-up and maintains paint line equipment Reads work orders, follows production drawings, sample assemblies or verbal orders to paint products Receives verbal instruction on priority of orders Sets up daily work according to paint production schedule, priority, or verbal instructions Checks parts for inventory counts Checks and prepares part surfaces before painting Hangs parts for optimal use of paint booth space Watches material in process on paint line to monitor paint flow to assure coating and color conform to specifications Pulls and stacks painted parts and puts parts into inventory at specified locations Checks and cleans machinery and surfaces Substitutes in assembly department when Paintline is not operational No supervisory responsibility, support co-workers in non-routine applications Moderate interaction with supervisors and co-workers Assists with special projects as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

  • Ability to Read and Interpret Quality Documents and Drawings
  • Able to Perform Basic Mathematical Computations
  • Able to Apply Common Sense Reasoning to Carry Out Instructions
  • Must be able to Stand for Long Periods
  • Ability to Work in a Team
  • Must have High School Diploma and GED
  • Employee must regularly be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs
  • Able to occasionally move up to 100 lbs
  • Must be able to tolerate long periods of standing
