About The Position
As a Painter you will be responsible for primering, painting, and stacking for shipment, materials components according to technical drawings and blueprints, ensuring that they meet design specifications and quality standards.
Requirements
- Painter 1: General knowledge of proper handling and staging
- Knowledge of SP2 and SP3 cleaning
- Able to apply shop coat primer
- Painter 2: Advanced knowledge of staging and handling
- Full comprehension and application of standard shop primer
- Some knowledge of multi-component coatings and their application
- Extensive knowledge of spray equipment
- Properly utilize inspection equipment
- Painter 3: Complete knowledge of all coating systems and paint equipment
- Provide material and consumable usage
- Provide estimated paint times
- Train lower level painters
