POSITION IDENTIFICATION Position Title: Painter Department: Utility JOB OVERVIEW: We are seeking a dedicated and detailed-oriented individual to join our manufacturing company as a Painter. Responsible for performing various tasks on a production line in a manufacturing facility.

Requirements

• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques involved in the effective manufacture of goods a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to properly identify and compile information to effectively make decisions and set priorities.
• Must pass drug test
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to be at work on time.

Responsibilities

• Employee must be able to work on a respirator.
• Apply paint and coatings using spray guns on various surfaces.
• Inspect painted surfaces for quality, uniform coverage, and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain and clean painting equipment and spray booths.
• Follow safety procedures and use appropriate PPE for handling paints and chemicals.
• Follow orders, and complete tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.
• Follow prescribed procedures and guidelines.
• Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.
• Follow all company rules and policies.
• Follow all safety rules and quality standards.
• Uphold all OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
