The Painter is responsible for painting custom exhibit components made from various materials while displaying the highest levels of quality, accuracy, and professionalism at all times. What you’ll do: Work closely with the lead carpenters, shop supervisor, and project managers on jobs to review any potential deviations from the prints or to provide suggestions on alternative methods, colors, or techniques to be used Maintain work area in a safe and clean condition free of hazards, including wearing a respirator when in the spray booth and always ensuring adequate ventilation in the paint shop Paint exhibit components according to detail prints or verbal using power and pneumatic tools Attend regular production and launch meetings as required Communicate project-specific issues to the team to ensure efficient and timely resolution of potential situations
