About The Position

The Painter is responsible for performing a variety of painting and general
maintenance tasks for both interior and exterior projects. This role requires
strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently or within a team,
and the capacity to complete tasks efficiently and effectively. Quality customer
service skills and flexibility to meet client needs are essential.

Requirements

• Three to five years of related painting and general maintenance experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in all situations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of the business.
• Ability to perform additional general maintenance tasks, including carpentry, as required.
• Capacity to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for an extended period of time.
• Attention to detail, organization skills, and the ability to work in various physical positions, including standing, sitting, walking, bending and repetitive movement.

Responsibilities

• Perform extensive exterior and interior painting projects in a timely and efficient manner.
• Patch and paint walls with chips or scrapes, ensuring smooth finishes.
• Take direction from supervisors or managers and complete tasks independently.
• Provide general handyman services, particularly in carpentry, as needed.
• Perform additional work or ad hoc projects per client requests.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of work areas.
• Attend weekly meetings with the facility manager to review various projects.
• Ensure high standards of work quality and customer satisfaction.
