Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- 2 years painting experience Required
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a commercial or healthcare setting Preferred
- Technical school training or apprenticeship program Preferred
- Valid Georgia drivers license & adhere to Piedmont's Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program policy 3500 criteria Preferred
Responsibilities
- The primary role of Painter is to perform routine painting, wall covering and floor repairs or replacement.
- Assists with routine maintenance of the department.
- May perform preventative and/or corrective work orders.
- System responsibilities include completing work orders and preventative maintenance assignments, as well as responding to emergencies that arise.
- Additional responsibilities may include performing electrical, plumbing and mechanical repairs.
- Responsible for taking on-call on a rotating basis to be available for emergencies when there is no on-site Plant Engineering coverage
