About The Position

The Painter role involves painting, staining, and varnishing various surfaces. Key responsibilities include preparing surfaces through cleaning, sanding, sandblasting, scraping, brushing, and burning, as well as repairing surfaces like plastering and sheetrock finishing. The position requires the ability to erect scaffolding, move furniture and equipment, mix and match paint, and operate a paint sprayer. The successful candidate will also perform other relevant duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 3+ years' experience in industrial and/or residential painting.
• Knowledge and experience with various paint techniques and surface preparation.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Possess sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.

Responsibilities

• Paint, stain and varnish various surfaces.
• Clean, sand, sandblast, scrape, brush and burn surfaces in preparation for painting.
• Repair surfaces to be painted including plastering and sheetrock finishing.
• Erect scaffolding, and move furniture and equipment as needed.
• Mix and match paint.
• Use paint sprayer.
• Perform all other relevant duties as assigned.
