About The Position

In this position, you’ll have the opportunity to: Spray paint a variety of parts to produce appropriate finishes on doors. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  Ensure quality of product by performing visual inspection of all materials prior to painting  Perform the painting operations by spraying parts per the work instructions  Ability to troubleshoot solutions for equipment issues and apply them  Consistently meet all quality requirements  Ability to maintain a consistent, steady pace of work  Ensure quality of paint and thinners used by performing viscosity checks and keeping a log of daily checks  Ability to mix chemicals and stains as required per product specifications  Willingness to be flexible and rotate w/ other team members as needed o Assist with Paint Kitchen Attendant responsibilities as needed  Maintain a clean and organized work area Health, Safety, and Environmental Therma Tru Corporation is committed to providing a safe workplace and promoting the health and safety of its associates. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Good computer skills and knowledge
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • No Felony conviction in past 7 year
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work with team to meet common goals
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Computer literate.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write correspondence

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with air-power hand tools and paint guns desired
  • High school diploma or GED required with six months to one year related experience preferred.
