About The Position

This job paints, hangs paper, and follows blue prints, color charts and/or schematics of design using the correct tools of the trade. Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years' commercial painting experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Working knowledge and experience in the area of paint mixture and application.
• Ability to install wallpaper, vinyl or other materials to walls using specifications by the manufacturer.
• Positive interpersonal skills; ability to effectively and professionally work with people from all backgrounds.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Ability to read, write, draw, measure and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Knowledge to safely operate all tools and equipment according to OSHA and manufacturers' recommendations.
• Ability to handle mental and physical stress and pressures to complete all jobs.

Responsibilities

• Performs general repairs and troubleshooting.
• Completes Preventive Maintenance inspections.
• Utilizes effective judgment and initiative when performing job duties.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Adheres to company policies.
• Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensures compliance with all such laws, regulations and standards.
