About The Position
The Painter position at San Francisco State University is a temporary role under the Housing, Dining & Conference Services (HDCS) department. The position will begin on May 1, 2025, and end on or before August 29, 2025. The Painter will be responsible for performing a full range of skilled work in painting, finishing, and maintaining various interior and exterior surfaces and structures. This role requires working under the direct supervision of the Supervising Painter and involves preparing surfaces, applying undercoats and finish coats, painting signs, and inspecting completed work for compliance with specifications and safety codes.
