About The Position

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Technical education is a plus.
• Computer literacy.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing and lifting at least 40 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ year of experience in wet and powder paint.
• Experience in auto-body paint.
• Ability to communicate with others and work independently.
• Strong work ethic, keen attention to detail and initiative to learn processes.

Responsibilities

• Verify accuracy, quality and quantity of incoming and outgoing parts and materials.
• Operate paint guns and utilize wet paint systems.
• Identify, locate and process materials for job orders promptly and accurately.
• Maintain and replenish supplies and equipment, ensuring order.
• Prep surfaces for painting by cleaning, taping, scraping, patching, sanding, and other necessary measures.
• Safely dispose of chemical waste.
• Ensure proper ventilation after paint application.
• Conduct regular audits of supplies and equipment and maintain the condition of materials.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure correctness and quality of parts and materials.
• Report production data promptly and accurately.
• Safely operate the forklift, scissor lift, and other tools as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
